I promised 30 teams in 30 days, so here goes:
After a first round victory over the Miami Heat in 7 games, the Hawks were the second team to be swept by Cleveland. The Hawks need to add a good defender at SF, like Ron Artest, who is a free agent this summer. They had no answer for LeBron in the second round. Also, if they get over the hump on Cleveland, the Hawks have good matchups in Orlando, with the smaller PF in Josh Smith. However, they also need a bigger C to defend Dwight Howard. A Horford may be able to hold his own, but Zaza? Please.

you're assuming your audience knows what SF, C and PF are?
ReplyDeletealso, if you don't already, make sure you start reading www.truehoop.com
I think they also need a more dependable point guard than Bibby...I think that hurts them a lot. With all the moves the other teams have been making recently they need to do something big in order to compete.
ReplyDeleteActually, they traded for Jamal Crawford, so they will most likely just let Bibby walk.
ReplyDeleteCrawford is alright, but I still don't think he is what they need. They need someone better at the point, more reliable than him. He didn't do well in NY (i mean that by his team sucked, he did alright) so why will he do better in Atlanta?
ReplyDeleteYou just said he did alright. Crawford is good, Atlanta is good, NY is not
ReplyDeleteIMO Al Horford has played better as a Power Forward...Atlanta needs a Center
